Anna Sofia is a Mexican-American singer, dancer, actor, writer, and comedian. As a performer and creator, she values authenticity, artistic collaboration, equity, and representation. And lots of jokes.
Originally from Austin, TX, she crossed enemy lines to the University of Oklahoma to get her BFA in Musical Theater, graduating with Honors and distinctions, as well as studying playwriting and psychology. In her last year of school, she wrote, produced, and directed her capstone, "The BFA's," a web series about musical theatre college. On a normal day, you can find her going to dance class, listening to a podcast, watching Drag Race or reading fiction.
Anna recently finished her time in "Cats" as Rumpleteazer on Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas. It was an honor to perform the same character her mother did in Mexico City over 20 years ago.
This year, Anna will have her first full length play “Under the Influence” premiere with Co.llective Arts Productions.
